Since 2021, we have become a Collective Benefit and Interest Company (BIC), which means that we have environmental and social objectives in addition to economic ones. This was an important milestone for us as we established a long-term strategic plan to meet the following objectives:
Social purposes
- Donation of reusable waste, with recycling potential, destined for delivery to vulnerable populations and social enterprises.
- To generate social impact on the artisans of the Cajamarca community with whom Kuskaya works, through female empowerment and the promotion of textile design.
Environmental purposes
- Encourage the reuse of water in production processes through the use of a Wastewater Treatment Plant.
- Progressively eliminate single-use plastic in production and commercial processes.
