Our solidarity brand Kuskaya
This project began in 2002 with the idea of bringing together, in a harmonious and balanced union, our passion for design with handcraft techniques and materials characteristic of Peru. KUSKAYA, a Quechua word that means working together, was the name chosen for the adventure we undertook, since the products we create are the result of a collective effort. Years later, we continue on the same mission, but as part of something bigger. Today we are the solidarity brand of Textil El Amazonas SA BIC, where the cotton yarns that we have always used come from. The weavers have evolved together with us, improving their living conditions and those of their families. Our dream is that this project will leave a long lasting legacy in rural communities, which will help maintain their art and identities.
